Vaginal birth is the preferred mode of delivery for most mothers. However, in some unforeseen situations, C-section may be the safer delivery option. Below are some of the common indications for C-section.
The outcome of this screening flowchart is not meant to concretely imply that you would or would not be undergoing a C-section. The decision to perform a C-section would depend on specific situations during delivery, according to what’s best for you and your little one. Discuss with your doctor to understand more about the factors associated with the likelihood of having a C-section.
