1. Wash hands regularly

The Coronavirus is spread by human contact. Therefore, quite simply washing your hands is the best way to protect against it. So, wash your hands before touching your child and insist to anyone that’s about to touch your child, to wash their hands as well.

Teach your little ones to regularly wash their hands too. Make it a regular part of play or mealtimes and wash your hands together using an alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

2. Limit get-togethers and outside contacts with others

Children are curious, inquisitive and friendly little ones. But in this time, try to minimise interactions between them and other people. It might seem harsh at first, but it helps stop the spread of the virus.

As well as avoiding close contact, maintain a safe distance of at least 1 meter between yourself and anyone who is sick, coughing or sneezing.
